The 25cm Gajdusek-Kozelsky Cassegrain was made in the 1960's for the Zdanice Observatory in the Czech Republic. The mirrors were made by Vilém Gajdusek (1895-1977) and the mechanics by Frantisek Kozelsky (1913-2003).
In the Zdanice Observatory I found two of this Cassegrain reflectors. One is already completly restaured.
Originally the telescope was "portable" with a weight of 25kg. It was mounted on a portable pier with an alt-az mount.
The main mirror has a diameter of 25cm with a focal length of 3700mm. This is thus a f:15 telescope. Excellent for planetary observations.
