Photographing Deep Sky is the most difficult part of Astro photography.
Now the digital revolution opens a lot of possibilities. Digital Astro photography isn't as hard as the classical photography.
It's a complete different experience.

System: TS 2.5" Flattener
Camera: Canon EOS 550D (modified with the Baader filter) and the Hutech LPS-frontfilter
Exposure: 207minutes @ 800asa
Autoguiding: Drift alignment with PHD
Treatment: Nebulosity and Photoshop
Remarks: Extraordinary weather. Very warm and wet. Not very transparant sky.
